Over the next few weeks, I will be making the necessary preparation for my trip to Europe. As many of you already know, this has been one of my life goals for quite awhile and it is very exciting to me to finally see the details coming into view. I will depart from Philadelphia on 7 January (yes, Haley's 23rd bday) and will return on 10 March. It seems like a long trip, but I am sure the days will pass much more quickly than I would like.
My purpose of this blog is to keep you all aware of my travels and adventures across Europe (and of course, to let you all know that I am alive and well.) I will not have a telephone and I will be following a loose itinerary, but I would love for you all to live vicariously through me. ((Prayers for my safety would also be grateful over this course of time.)) I wish you all a happy and prosperous 2009, and happy reading!
